Thanks for visiting my blog. I have done several blogs through the years but this one is dedicated to the work that I am doing in my TOSA (teacher on special assignment) position in my district.
I am finishing my first year as a K-5 Instructional Specialist in the Spencerport Central School District in Western NY. We are currently working on a 1:1 Digital Conversion. I have been with Spencerport for 15 years and have taught kindergarten and first grades. I have served on my building's Planning Team and have served as a First Grade Team Leader.
I am a Mom to a high-school Senior who will be attending college in the fall to study Sports Management. While I feel that the time has gone by WAY too quickly, I am very proud of him and happy for his new adventure to begin. I also have a daughter who is finishing her freshman year and loves all things having to do with singing. My husband works at the Rochester Institute of Technology so we are all about education in our family!
